Little Braid, Big Leafy Barrette
Yes, yes, 90s trends are all the rage! Here’s a look with a little braid and a barrette that gives 90s vibes and is PERFECT for summer.
I am using the large leaf barrette which is a wonderful statement piece. It is a little heavy for my short hair, so I am using a bobby pin to support it! After I filmed this tutorial I kept this look in my hair all day and it stayed put (and I got some compliments).
To get the look:
Braid a tiny section of hair toward the front of your face.
Pull the braid back and gather some hair to hold with the leaf barrette.
Slide the barrette in your hair, adjust as necessary.
If you are using a bobby pin for extra security, slide the bobby pin into hair so that it holds the underside of the leaf barrette. I like to slide the bobby pin underneath the hair in the barrette to hide the bobby.
Voila! Easy peasy, cute and summery.
