Summer Accessory Layering, Part 1: Necklaces
What do you do when it’s hot but you still want to look fly? Style your accessories, not your clothes!
Good styling is all about layering. But when it’s hot, we don’t want to layer our clothes! So here’s an idea: layer on the accessories to add some style to your outfit.
This is part one of our summer accessory layering series. First, we’re doing a refresher course on layering necklaces! This trend has not gone away, so here are some tips and tricks to layer your neck with style and ease.
Necklace layering
pile them on! Hot tips to pull this off are:
chains of different lengths
chains of different metals/colors
beaded or pearl necklaces on top of chains to add dimension and color
different chain textures/types.
Sweet and juicy pairings for summer:
The fruit necklace is on a shorter chain: measuring 16” long, it hits just below the collarbone. Comes in sterling silver or gold-fill in 3 cute fruits: yuzu lemon (a citrine stone), peach (a light orange carnelian agate stone), and nectarine (a red carnelian agate stone). Each necklace is adorned with a tiny hand-enameled green leaf.
