Hiker Chic: How to Wear a Hair Stick with a Baseball Cap
This is the ultimate lazy hairdo, the remedy for your bad hair day, and the greatest “I can’t remember how long it’s been since I wash made hair and I’m not about to go do it right now” look (I write this at the start of week 3 of COVID-19 quarantine).
Or maybe you just want to look kinda cute on your hike!
Pop on a baseball cap and try this cute lewk out on your next fresh air outing.
Here’s a walk-though:
Pull your hair through the back of your hat as you put it on.
Twist your hair up into a bun.
Place the stick into the bun at the edge. The stick should be making contact with your scalp inside the hole of your cap.
Move the stick parallel to your head and slide it into the bun, keeping it close to your scalp.
Pop the stick out the other side of your bun. Leverage the stick so that it come out of the side of the bun (the “meat” of the bun), not the base.
It may take some practice, but the results are worth it! The trickiest part is that all the action happens inside the loop of your hat. The stick should not be poking out of the bottom of the cap loop, in other words.
This look features a NEW ITEM! The beautiful Prehnite Squiggle Hair Stick. You can also try this look with the stick from the Squiggle Poke Pin.
Have fun trying this one out, and leave me a comment if you like it or have any question! Stay home and stay safe.
