Braided Updo with Two Wave Barrettes

The second installment of the Long Braid Series! Surprise, surprise, it’s another ridiculously easy look!

I’ve done a version of this sans braid, but the braid holds it all together very well, and creates a lovely texture in the updo.

And a bonus, it’s astoundingly easy!

Alls you gotta do is:

1. Put your hair in a braid.

2. Fold your braid up on your head. Mine was very long and I folded it on itself, tucking the ends in.

3. Holding the folded braid at the top of your head with one hand, use the other hand to slide the barrette in and secure. I find it easier to secure the top barrette first.

4. Next, coming from the opposite side, secure another barrette below the top barrette.

5. Scrunch and ruche the braid in the barrettes to fill out the look and tightly secure the barrettes.
   

That’s it! So cool, no?
